Inspiration Exchange

Donating your time and resources to a non-profit can be as rewarding for you as it is for organization.

I volunteered in a Special Ed. class for about 12 years outside of my regular job. At the time the class would take a 3 day trip to a state park, I would use vacation time every year to be a volunteer. I was also involved in Special Olympics bowling during that time and our team went to nationals twice! I am now an aide for a Down Syndrome 6 year old boy during Sunday school at my church for the last two years.

Life changing benefits of donating to or volunteering at a non-profit organization include:
1. You are providing "hope" to someone in need
2. Your perspective can change when you see the world through another persons lens
3. Volunteerism builds a strong community
4. It's a great way to meet new friends
